WELCOME!

Mixing XXV is the 25th in a conference series that began in 1967. Every two years since then, the mixing community meets in North America to share and discuss the latest research developments in fluid mixing. Participants come from academia, industry, and private and government research institutions in North America and all around the world.

For its 50th year of existence, the conference series will resume in Québec City, Canada, one of the oldest cities in North America founded by European navigator Samuel de Champlain as early as 1608 at the exact location where European explorer Jacques Cartier built a first fort in 1535. As such, Québec City became one of the very first “mixing points” between Native and European cultures in North America! And this mixing tradition is about to continue…

The host site of the conference, the majestuous Château Frontenac, overlooking the St. Lawrence river, is generally recognized as the most photographed hotel in the world, largely for its prominence in the skyline of Québec’s Old Town (“Vieux-Québec”), a declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985.

So, join us from June 26th to July 1st 2016 in Québec City for the XXVth edition of our long lasting mixing tradition!
