For more than thirty years the
NAMF
biennial conference on mixing has served as the focal point for
presenting new technology, sharing ideas, developing relationships,
and enhancing the field of mixing. The conference brings together
the industrial specialists who apply the technology, the academic
researchers who investigate new ideas, and the equipment
manufacturers who reduce ideas to practice. No other conference
provides the intense focus on mixing technology in a relaxed
atmosphere that promotes personal contact.
Formerly known as the
Engineering Foundation Mixing Conference, the biennial North
American mixing conference was established by the Engineering
Foundation in 1967 to provide the opportunity for the exploration of
problems and issues in mixing. After its inception, NAMF became a
cosponsor with the Engineering Foundation for MIXING XIII (Banff
1991) and MIXING XIV (Santa Barbara, 1993).
