Call for Abstracts – Mixing XXVIII & ISMIP 11
Continuing with our tradition of presentations and discussions of path breaking research material in a collegial environment with open-minded and fruitful mixing discussions, there will be no published proceedings and formal papers do not need to be submitted. We do however request authors to submit abstracts for their intended talk.
In Memoriam: Prof. Alvin Nienow (1937 – 2022)
Our friend and colleague Alvin Nienow passed away in October. He was a giant in the field of fluid mixing and his contributions to the whole field were immense. Read the Obituary and Memorial by Arthur W. Etchells, DuPont Fellow emeritus.
2022 NAMF Award for Excellence Bestowed to Eric E. A. Janz
Congratulations to Eric E. A. Janz who was selected as the winner of the 2022 NAMF Award for Excellence and Sustained Contribution to Mixing Research and Practice. The Award was presented to Eric on the 15th of November 2022 at the NAMF Award Dinner during the AIChE Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona.
