Mixing XXVII, the 27th biennial conference of the North American Mixing Forum, is occurring June 21 – 26, 2020 in Niagara Falls, Canada. The goal of the Mixing series of conferences has always been to meet as a community and share the latest findings in the field of fluid mixing. At Mixing XXVII, we will officially revisit and celebrate the exemplary contributions of Edward L. Paul and Jerzy R. Baldyga.
The Mixing in Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical Processes technical session will be dedicated to Edward L. Paul in recognition of his significant contributions to the industry. The technical session will commence with a special celebration of contributions lecture to commemorate Edward L. Paul’s contributions both within and external to the fluid mixing community.
The Rotor Stator Mixers – 25 Years Later technical session will be dedicated to Jerzy R. Baldyga in recognition of his significant contributions towards understanding turbulent mixing and chemical reactions. The technical session will commence with a special celebration of contributions lecture to commemorate Jerzy R. Baldyga’s contributions which are applicable to a wide range of fluid mixing topics and will lead into the rotor stator discussions.
